STUDENT FEEDBACK
First, I loved the energy Kate brought to every session. She was our biggest supporter and was honest about our strengths and areas for improvement. She encouraged us to own our successes and work confidently, letting go of inhibitions and being mindful of our words. She led with impact, avoiding unnecessary delicacy and worrying about what we said.
Secondly, I appreciated the regular and frequent feedback. It was both important and encouraging, helping us achieve our best. Kate was open to offering more time for work and development.
Thirdly, I think she occasionally needed to refocus the group. When we put women together, there’s a tendency to chat and fill the time. She allowed those moments to strengthen our bonds and teamwork, but she also brought us back to focus when needed.
Kate truly considered our individual differences and didn’t teach her style. She encouraged us to embrace our own. That’s a lovely quality of hers.
We all approached things differently, and she respected her teaching style while allowing us to shine.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the programme. I love Kate and believe her teaching style is brilliant and she will only build on it over time. Her Pilates teaching is exceptional, and her humility and authenticity make her truly special. These qualities will contribute to the success of her education class, which focuses on the fundamentals of Pilates in a modern way while allowing her students to develop their own teaching skills.
